Pristine Natural Beauty In Botswana
Each year, high in the Angolan mountains, the Cubango and Cuito Rivers burst their banks, sending a flood of water down into Botswana where it settles into shallow pools stretched out across the pristine plains of the Okavango Delta.
These annual flood pans are the lifeblood of Africa, with enchanted waterways that attract the highest concentrations of Africa's abundant wildlife to the Okavango Delta in all its splendid glory.

Ride In A Mokoro Boat
Botswana's flood pans are shallow and warm, so depending on your camp's location and the time of year you'll have the opportunity to explore the winding waterways in a dug-out canoe or 'mokoro.' This is a wonderful way to get up close and personal with Botswana's smaller creatures, like little frogs on little green lily pads, as well as butterflies, dragonflies, and colourful birds of all shapes and sizes.
Stop for a refreshing drink on a sandy island, then head back to camp for a scrumptious meal around the friendly campfire.
Botswana to Victoria Falls
Victoria Falls makes a fantastic start or end to your Botswana safari. Relax along the banks of the Zambezi on the Zambian side, or soak up the village feel on the Zimbabwean side.
